IDFC congratulate latest cup winners
Insch & District FC send their congratulations ot Byron Athletic, who tonight won their first ever trophy - the 14s Consolation Cup after an event-filled Final at Balgownie.
Their oponents, Dee Boys Club opened the scoring early on only to be pulled back, then went 4-1 ahead.
At 4-3, Dee then had Goalkeeper Oskar Klimkiewicz and defender Tom Farquhar sent off for handball outside the box and violent conduct respectively, a blow they did not recover from as the match ended 4-4 to head into extra time.
Byron went on to rally in three goals in the additional time to win 7-4.
