Colony Colts 3
I.D.F.C Under 12's (10-11) 2

Ali Naysmith (2)

Insch started very well with the midfield coming out on top with a goal from Ali NAYSMITH on 3 mins.
Ryan Stewart playing well through the middle of the park was the inspiration the team were needing and Bryce Dawson playing a very mature roll in the centre of defence keeping the Insch defence of Dylan Hanson and John Angus on their toes through gaining Colony pressure.
Kyle Scott again showing why he is considered by some as one of the best keepers in the league.
The best move of the game came late in the first half as Ross Allan got a high ball from Kyle Scott up the left hand side and stroked a fine pass to Striker Johnny Rumsey who drifted the ball to Ryan Stewart who looked up saw NAYSMITH free in the middle of the box glided a super ball to Ali who allowed the ball to sweep across his body confusing the keeper and nailed his shot into the back of the net for his & IDFC’s second goal on 24mins.
Colony came back with a last minute goal in the first half.
[Half-Time: Colony Colts 1, Insch & District 2]

Second half changes saw Rumsey coming off to allow Steph Lawson on as the loan striker.
Colony started quickly catching our lads (and Lassie) sleeping with a goal 7mins after the restart.
The remainder of the game was very even with both teams competing well in a very good natured game.
Dylan Bruce came on for a tiring John Angus and kept it simple with a series of good clearances.
Pushing Bryce Dawson through the middle of the park started to gain IDFC momentum with shots just going wide from both Dawson & Stewart.
Unfortunately the last kick of the ball proved to be our undoing as Colony scored the winning goal.
Final Score 3-2

All the kids played very well with a lot of effort from each and every one of them.
4 lads stood out, worthy of a mention were Kyle Scott, Ali Naysmith, Ryan Stewart & Bryce Dawson.
Captains Arm Band will go to Bryce Dawson.
Difficult to pick a man of the match from any of them.
2 goals clinched it so Ali Naysmith was man of the match.
