Cold, windy and bright at Turriff with our U11's team drawn in the "A" league of the P6/7 age group. We had a tough draw with Matches against Buckie Thistle, Turriff Bulldogs, Aberdeen FC U11's and Deveron Thunder. 10mins per game with each kid getting min 20mins on the pitch out of a possible 40mins. A brief report of each match follows.

Buckie Thistle.
Own Goal putch IDFC 1-0 up. Ross scored from an Ali Corner. Ryan scored from a Bryce power drive shot parried by the keeper. Buckie scored 2 mins after time.
IDFC win 3-1.

Turriff Bulldogs.
Well the home side lived up to their name as we were bullied on the pitch. A Turriff goal on 11mins won the match.
Turriff win 1-0.

Aberdeen FC U11's.
Our lads were well up for this one with the pre-season friendly formost on their minds. This time the skill and speed was not all one way with our lads giving a very good acount of themselves. A looping cross on 10mins win the game.
AFC win 1-0.

Deveron Thunder.
We started slowly and didn't really compete in this game as we were second to each ball. If we'd played as we did against AFC we'd have won the game but again a late goal on 12mins put us out of the compeT*Tion.
Deveron Thunder win 1-0.

League finished. Points order.
AFC U11's = 12.
Deveron Thunder = 10.
Turriff Bulldogs = 7.
IDFC = 6.
Buckie Thistle = 4.

AFC went on the become second overall in the P6/7 league with Deveon's sister team winning the section.

We did extremely well against some very strong opposition. Great to see our team holding their own against the AFC U11's first team..... no 15-1 this time. Both Ray and I were very proud of you all lads, Well Done.
