Insch 4 v 2 Dee BC
As opposed to writing a report for each game I would like to mention the contribution given by each player.
STEWART MOIR
Another good goalkeeping display by Stewart - was unlucky to concede the goals in the first half, but showed good awareness when starting the play. As I said to Stewart at the end of the game he shows what great quality he has only when he gets annoyed, and shows he's willing to battle, and protect the ball when he is in that frame of mind.
JAKE WILSON
'Mr. Consistant' Jake always 'shows up' for every game and consistently battles for the ball and is building his skills well allowing us to try to create from the back.
LEWIS DUKELOW
A real steal from Colony Park - this guy has got a natural talent for football - he can tackle, head, create and also shoot. He had a good game on Sunday and would like to see him want the ball more as I think as a team we could create problems for the opponents when he gets the ball.
CAMERON PETRIE
Had a very good game - some important interventions and shows good determination during game, but just needs to believe he's a good player.
TIM LYONS
Had a sort of quiet game and unfortunately had to come off after injuring his calf. Still shows his ability to play well anywhere on the field.
CONNOR MIDWOOD
Shows his pace and determination throughout the whole game - got us out of a couple of difficult situations.
JONNY RUMSEY
Jonny was always keen to get on the ball, and has such a deft touch that he can pick out a pass with relevant ease.
OLIVER SMITH
Seemed to enjoy playing on the wing by offering a lot of supply for the attackers and also keen to get stuck in with the defending when needed. His ability to play in different positions could be key for Insch this season.
ROSS ALLAN
Showed a willingness to get forward on the wing and with some extra fitness coaching could become a real handful for defenders.
KEIRAN & RYAN CORNFOOT
Apologies guys for getting you mixed up all the time! but you both show a real keenness to get on the ball and both have some real ability and skill.
CRAIG RENNIE
Pushed up front and showed what lightening pace he has - disposed of one goal, and possibly could've had a hat-trick, but shows great endeavor to improve and do whatever is asked.
JORDAN MURRAY
Pulled back into midfield and was always keen to get onto the ball to create opportunities for his team mates, and has a great knack of being at the right place at the right time for Insch's 2nd goal.
TAYLOR BURNETT
Didn't get much of a chance to show his skills on Sunday but is always a lively player that likes the ball at his feet and knows where the goal is.
Overall a great second half effort by all the team - but we need to begin competing for the ball at the start of the game.
